WHY HAS THE WORLD STOPPED TALKING ABOUT MIKE TYSON? 😓 BOXING LEGEND’S HEALTH PHOTOS SPARK FRESH CONCERNS AMONG FANS
For decades, Mike Tyson was known as one of the most terrifying and physically powerful men ever to step inside a boxing ring. His name alone was enough to send fear through opponents, and his incredible strength, speed and determination made him a global sporting icon. But today, as fans look at pictures of the former heavyweight champion, many cannot help but wonder what is happening to the man who once seemed almost impossible to defeat.
Recent photographs circulating online have reignited conversations about Tyson’s physical condition. In one image, he is seen standing shirtless in a gym, displaying an impressive physique that still reflects years of intense training. In another, he is seated in a wheelchair at an airport, looking considerably different from the powerful fighter millions remember.
The contrast between these images has left many fans concerned and asking questions about his health. Has the boxing legend been struggling more than people realise? And why does it seem that so little attention is being given to his condition?
The truth is that Mike Tyson has experienced some serious health challenges over the years, although not everything being suggested online has been medically confirmed.
One condition Tyson has openly discussed is sciatica, a painful nerve condition that can affect the lower back and travel down one or both legs. In 2022, after photographs showed him using a wheelchair at an airport, Tyson explained that he experienced occasional flare-ups of the condition. He even admitted that the pain could become so intense that he sometimes struggled to speak.
However, that was not the only health battle he would face.
In May 2024, Tyson experienced a frightening medical emergency while travelling on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles. His representatives initially explained that he had suffered an ulcer flare-up, which caused nausea and dizziness.
Later, Tyson revealed just how serious the situation had become. He described vomiting blood, losing a significant amount of blood and requiring multiple blood transfusions. He also disclosed that he had lost approximately 25 to 26 pounds during the ordeal.
It was a frightening experience, one that reportedly brought him close to death and forced the postponement of his highly anticipated boxing match against Jake Paul.
Despite the frightening experience, Tyson eventually returned to the ring in November 2024. His comeback demonstrated his determination, but it also reminded the world that even the strongest athletes are not immune to the realities of ageing and serious health challenges.
Now, as fresh attention returns to photographs showing him in a wheelchair, fans are understandably worried. However, it is important to remember that the pictures alone cannot establish whether he is currently experiencing a new medical problem. Nor do they confirm that his previously disclosed conditions have worsened.
At 60, Tyson has already lived an extraordinary life filled with incredible victories, personal struggles, fame and difficult moments. The man who once dominated the heavyweight division is now navigating a different chapter of life, one in which his health and well-being deserve just as much attention as his legendary boxing career.
Perhaps the bigger question is not why everyone has forgotten Mike Tyson, but whether people are paying enough attention to the well-being of sporting legends after their glory days.
Fans do not necessarily want to see him back in the ring. Many simply want to see him healthy, happy and enjoying life away from the pressure of competition.
Mike Tyson has given boxing some unforgettable moments. He has nothing left to prove to the world.
Get well, Iron Mike. Your legacy will never be forgotten. ❤️🥊
