Seeing Swift all dolled up, many fans wondered what Kelce’s reaction to the outfit might’ve been, leading to some hilarious social media posts in response.
One fan wrote, “Travis Kelce opening his phone in Kansas City after practice to see Taylor Swift’s birthday dinner outfit,” on X along with a gif from the show Jury Duty of James Marsden screaming and throwing his phone in the trash.
Another fan pulled up a clip of an opossum being dragged off the football field at a Texas Tech and Texas Christian game in November, writing, “travis being detained in KC after seeing taylor’s B-day fit.”
“I AM CRYING HELP ME,” wrote one fan in the comments, while the original poster jokingly added, “clutching his pearls and crying on the phone asking her to come back.”

The two will likely be reunited over the weekend, as Swift has become a staple at her boyfriend’s football games and the Kansas City Chiefs play the New England Patriots on Dec. 17.
