This rare public appearance coincides with reports of his ex-girlfriend being in town with her NFL boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

According to a source close to Alwyn, the album’s title is seen as a subtle jab at him, referencing a WhatsApp group he shares with friends. Despite this, Alwyn reportedly doesn’t anticipate Swift airing negative details about their relationship in the album.

While some consider it potentially “shady” for Swift to reference him in any negative light, especially considering his silence about their split, Alwyn doesn’t foresee such an occurrence. He does, however, acknowledge the album’s title as an undeniable nod to their past, recalling how Swift took issue with the name of a group he was part of during their relationship.

In essence, Alwyn remains uncertain about Swift’s intentions regarding their past relationship in her music but is aware of the album’s allusion to their shared history.

“She often writes about her past using veiled references and subtle hints. It’s possible she’s just reflecting on their time together, and he’s hoping it stays at that,” the insider commented.
