The Kansas city Coach Andy Reid has come with another new decision regarded the next season kick off, this decision was once made by L’Jarius Sneed before his departure.
The Kansas City Chiefs are the new “bad boys” of the NFL, and for good reason. They have won three Super Bowl titles in the last five seasons and have made the Super Bowl in four of the last five years. Kansas City fell short in 2021 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Super Bowl and lost in overtime in the AFC Championship game to the Cincinnati Bengals in 2022. So, it’s safe to say that they have been fairly dominant across the board.
The Chiefs are led by star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who has redefined what it means to be a quarterback. But the organization has surrounded him with immense talent, and it starts at the top of the team. ReceKansas City CEO and Chairman Clark Hunt understands how to win, and it’s keeping this core together. He spoke on that fact, showing his desire to continue pushing the pedal forward in this game.
“Mark, Brett and Andy have achieved historic success together, and we are thrilled that they will continue in their roles for many years to come,” Hunt said. “Individually, Mark, Brett and Andy each represent the best in the National Football League at their respective positions, and together, they make up one of the finest leadership teams in all of professional sports. They have been tremendous leaders for this organization on and off the field, and we look forward to their continued success in the years ahead.”ntly, the
Chiefs decided to keep all the big decision-makers around for even longer, making sure that the Kansas City dynasty stays around for the long haul.
The Chiefs recently signed head coach Andy Reid, general manager Brett Veach and president Mark Donovan to contract extensions. This allows the organization to keep major continuity and preserve the legacy of winning. With these moves, it doesn’t look like the Chiefs are going anywhere.
Sometimes winning can be taken for granted but for Reid, he wants more. After being in the NFL for so long, Reid finally found a sustainable winning environment in Kansas City. Now, he is looking to just add to his incredible resume, and it’s been fun to watch as football fans.
“I’m incredibly grateful to Clark and the entire Hunt family for giving me the opportunity to lead this historic franchise,” Reid said. “Over the last 11 years, Tammy and I have enjoyed calling Kansas City our home. The community has embraced us, we’ve watched our family grow, including having all 12 grandkids during our time here. On the field, there have been so many people that have contributed to our success and Super Bowls, and I’m grateful to the players, coaches and staff that have all invested their time into this process. I’d also like to thank my agent, Bob LaMonte. Chiefs Kingdom is a special place and I’m blessed to have the opportunity to be here.”
Kansas City will continue to be the top dog in the AFC and the entire NFL. Until someone knocks them down, they will be the favorites this coming year, looking to go for a three-peat.
