“We sort of [lost touch because] I said too much in a press conference, and so, we didn’t speak after that,” the “Crown” actor explained during the Dec. 24 episode of “Sunday Morning” on Times Radio, per US Weekly.

West, who plays King Charles III on the Netflix series, was further pressed by host Kate McCann to elaborate more on his broken friendship with the Duke of Sussex.

He explained their falling out occurred a year after they returned from the Walking With the Wounded charity event in 2013 — a trip with injured veterans through Antarctica.

While the actor didn’t detail the specifics, he seemingly referred to his comments at the press conference in 2014.

“[Harry] was very much part of the team,” West, 54, gushed at the time, according to US Weekly.

“He seemed to specialize in building latrines. He built this incredible castellated structure with blocks to keep out the wind, and it even had a [toilet] roll holder.”

Reflecting on the past comments on Sunday, the “Wire” actor added, “I think I was asked what we did.”

“[And] what we did to celebrate when we got there and [I] probably said too much,” he continued.

West — who’s been on “The Crown” since Season 5 — further explained their friendship ended “over 10 years ago,” and he wasn’t able to ask Harry, 39, for advice on how to play Charles.

Earlier this month, West also revealed that he stopped his son, Senan West, from playing young Prince William in the show.

The “Chicago” star said on the Radio Times that he prevented the 15-year-old from taking on the role because he was uncomfortable with the storyline for Season 6.

“I didn’t really fancy doing the scene at Balmoral [Castle], telling a boy his mother has died,” Dominic explained, adding that his son did a “great” job playing teenage William the previous season.

“They invited Senan back because he did such a good job, and he was great, but I did slightly balk at that. It was unfair of me because he did want to do it, but I wouldn’t have fancied that, to be honest.”

Meanwhile, Harry has confessed he’s watched the show and is “more comfortable” with how producers tell the story of his family in comparison to other projects.
