In 2013, when a Reddit user posted “TIL Cameron Diaz was in high school with Snoop Dogg, and Snoop Dogg was her drug dealer” to the r/todayilearned subreddit, the most upvoted response read, “TIL this is posted on Reddit approximately every 35 days.”The claim originated with Diaz herself during an interview on the Jan. 19, 2011, episode of comedian George Lopez’s talk show “Lopez Tonight,” which aired on TBS from 2009 to 2011. In a recording of Diaz’s interview uploaded to YouTube by an unofficial fan account named @LopezTonight, Diaz discussed attending high school with Snoop Dogg starting around the 1:03 timestamp.
