Latest News: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle given simple instruction to mend rift
As King Charles and Princess Kate recover from ill health, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been advised how to “resolve the rift” with the Royal Family.
While two members of the senior Royal Family, King Charles and Princess Kate focus on recovering from their recent cancer diagnoses, experts have been speculating whether this challenging time is a chance for reconciliation for Prince Harry, his wife, Meghan Markle, and the wider Royal Family.
A royal expert has claimed the best way of attempting to move towards healing wounds within the family, and suggested how to hand an olive branch to the said royal parties. Royal commentator, Richard Fitzwilliams gave the Duke and Duchess of Sussex a very simple instruction, as he explained to The Sun: “The best way of resolving the rift, if it is to be resolved, is to do it privately.”
He added because of the recent illnesses, it is a massive “game changer” to solving family situations. Earlier this year, Princess Kate shocked the world when she released an emotional video explaining she was undergoing preventative cancer treatment in the form of chemotherapy.
Mr Fitzwilliams said: “The two very senior members of the royal family, are very, are seriously ill, and you can’t really predict what’s what’s going to happen. So, as I say, the Sussexes do spring surprises. This has happened before, and you never know what might happen in the coming weeks or months.”
This comes as the Duke of Sussex prepares to come back to the UK next month to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games on May 8. The event is set to be held at St Paul’s Cathedral. The inaugural event of these games, which are designed for sick and injured servicemen and women, took place in London in 2014 and were co-founded by Harry.
