Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is hoping to impress his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, by breaking another NFL record on Christmas Day. He’s set to play a big role for his team against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Kelce, known as the best pass-catching tight end in NFL history, could further secure his top spot with a strong performance against Las Vegas. His superstar girlfriend, Swift, plans to support him at Arrowhead Stadium instead of spending Christmas Day with her family.

The lovebirds are reportedly celebrating the holidays at Kelce’s new $6 million mansion in Kansas City. This will be their first Christmas together, and Kelce could make it memorable by setting another record if he performs well against the Raiders.

Despite missing the season opener due to an injury, Kelce is just 76 yards away from another 1,000-yard season. If he achieves this, he’ll extend his record for the most seasons with at least 1,000 receiving yards among all tight ends to eight.

This is double the number of seasons achieved by the next closest players: Rob Gronkowski, Jason Witten, and Tony Gonzalez. Travis Kelce has already passed a milestone this season, securing over 11,000 career receiving yards and becoming the top Chiefs receiver in franchise history.

Kelce has another chance to reach his next goal when the Chiefs play the Cincinnati Bengals on New Year’s Eve. He loves playing on Christmas Day and looks forward to the game.

“I absolutely love it man,” Kelce said on the ‘New Heights’ podcast. “It’s magical. That’s one thing Christmas does – it brings people together and what better way to enjoy Christmas day than some football at Arrowhead baby?”

“That game is going to be electric. There’s a lot of people knowing their families are watching back home and we’re the first game on the tube that day. So we’re fired up for it and know we’re going to have a big challenge before us. And we always like to say: it’s on us… we’re still working on being the best versions of ourselves on the field.”
