15th of July : Overwhelmed Jason Kelce drops strongest Taylor Swift and Travis marriage hint yet
Jason Kelce playfully suggested Travis Kelce could get married to Taylor Swift soon with a comment that could drive Swifties crazy with excitement. The pop icon and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end have become one of the most famous couples on the planet since their relationship went public back in September – and the pair may be ready to tie the knot in the not-too-distant future.
On Wednesday’s episode of “New Heights,” Jason and Travis were discussing Adam Sandler movies and the characters portrayed by the mega-star actor. The brothers were breaking down which Sandler character is most similar to their respective personalities, which led to Jason causing a stir.
When Travis said his sibling is similar to “either Bobby Boucher or ‘The Wedding Singer,’” Jason seized the opportunity. With a raised eyebrow, he suggested: “I was gonna go ‘Wedding Singer’ maybe for you.”
The Philadelphia Eagles legend simply stared straight at the camera in silence as Travis burst into laughter. “I’ll take ‘Wedding Singer,’” Jason continued before going off on a tangent about how many quality films Sandler has made over the years.
While the moment was short and sweet, the clip went viral on social media. It’s not the first time Jason has poked fun at his brother’s relationship with pop icon Swift; before the duo went public, the 36-year-old discussed Travis’ dating life with his wife Kylie and joked the tight end was “doing just fine.”
Back in March, Jason and Travis sparked engagement speculation as they candidly discussed lab-grown diamonds. Having survived a Super Bowl-winning season that clashed with a global Eras Tour, Swift and Travis have been linked with engagement for some time.
The couple has become one of the most famous duos in the world amid a whirlwind romance that began last year when the 34-year-old managed to woo Swift by gifting a friendship bracelet. He attended her blockbuster Era’s Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium, and the two-time Super Bowl champion attempted to meet her backstage to give her the handmade bracelet that featured his phone number.
However, Travis was gutted to learn that Swift does not talk for an hour or so before and after her concert to preserve her voice – and he took it personally on his “New Heights” podcast.
The pair ultimately linked up in the end, with Swift revealing in her TIME ‘Person of the Year’ interview: “This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell. We started hanging out right after that.
“So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple.”
