Donna Kelce is all smiles after ringing in the New Year with son Travis and his girlfriend Taylor Swift following the Chiefs’ comeback win over Bengals
NFL mom and Campbell’s Chunky soup spokeswoman Donna Kelce was all smiles after emerging from son Travis’ Kansas City home following the family’s New Year’s Eve festivities with budding Chiefs fan, Taylor Swift.
Wearing a denim jacket adorned with Travis’ No. 87, Donna was seen grinning as she walked out of the garage on New Year’s Day after watching the Chiefs beat the Cincinnati Bengals, 25-17, alongside Swift at Arrowhead Stadium the night before.
Earlier, Kelce and Swift were captured sharing a kiss as the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve, with footage of their embrace quickly going viral on social media.
And on New Year’s Day, Kelce and Swift were spotted heading to one of the tight end’s other properties in Kansas City.
The pair may well have been nursing hangovers after partying the night away at the bash, where Kelce was seen in a sleek suit and Swift wore a glittering dress.
The singer arrived for the game at Arrowhead wearing a replica of the same Chiefs jacket Kelce had arrived in for the Christmas Day NFL game she was also at. A closer looks shows that she had ‘Tay’ stitched into the sleeve of her version – a nickname Travis has used for her before.
After the game, the couple was chauffeured in a golf cart to the players’ parking lot, where DailyMail.com cameras caught Kelce absconding with Swift in his Rolls Royce.
While Swift sported a Chiefs varsity jacket adorned with her nickname, ‘Tay-Ta,’ Kelce was dressed comfortably in sweats and a knit hat covering his shaved head.
And, like the gentleman he is, Kelce was sure to open the door for his New Year’s Eve date.
Swift and Kelce have spent plenty of time together during the holidays with the former enjoying a break before a relentless year of touring in 2024.
For Kelce, he is currently in the middle of another relentless NFL season but has at least had two games in Kansas City on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, allowing more time at home than if the Chiefs had been scheduled to play on the road
Sunday’s win saw the Chiefs wrap up the AFC West, giving Kelce another reason to celebrate after the game.
His team, last year’s Super Bowl winners, now round out the regular season next Sunday in Los Angeles against the Chargers before attention will turn sharply to the playoffs.
Swift doesn’t resume her Eras Tour until February but if the Chiefs make it to the Super Bowl – in Vegas on February 11 – she might have to make a mad dash from Tokyo, where she will have just played her first shows on 2024, to the west coast to cheer Kelce on.
Swift this year will then play shows in Australia, Singapore and in the summer, will spend four months touring Europe.
