Breaking News: Andy Reid’s Chiefs turned to his alma mater and Patrick Mahomes disagree with the decision with two reasons.

Despite rumors of retirement swirling around Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, former NFL head coach Mike Smith doesn’t see Andy Reid stepping away anytime soon. Aged 66, Reid has an impressive coaching career spanning over three decades.
Starting as an assistant for the Green Bay Packers in 1992, he later became the head coach for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1999, spending 14 seasons with the team.
Since joining the Chiefs in 2013, Reid has solidified his status as one of the greatest coaches in NFL history. Under his leadership, the Chiefs have won three Super Bowl championships and secured eight consecutive AFC West division titles.
With star quarterback Patrick Mahomes only 28 years old and likely to play for another decade, Reid’s coaching future seems bright. Despite his age, Reid’s track record and continued success suggest that he’ll be on the sidelines for the Chiefs for years to come.

Breaking News: Andy Reid’s Chiefs turned to his alma mater and Patrick Mahomes disagree with the decision with two reasons.

“I don’t know how much longer he’s going to go but I don’t anticipate him stepping out before [Patrick] Mahomes does,” Smith told Betway Insider
He’s going to stay right where he is as long as Mahomes is there. If Patrick decides he wants to retire early, then Andy may consider retiring but people don’t realize coach Reid is a grinder.
“He loves the preparation as much as the competition. He’s the mad scientist and we see it with all the Andy Reid signature plays which they run in pivotal moments.”
