BREAKING: Key Witness Missing as Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Federal Trial Begins in NYC

As the federal trial against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs gets underway in New York City, the prosecution is facing a major obstacle: a key witness has vanished just days before she was expected to take the stand.

The missing individual, identified in court documents only as “Victim-3,” has reportedly not been in contact with federal prosecutors or her legal representatives since May 11. Her sudden disappearance has raised serious concerns about the stability of the prosecution’s case, which relies heavily on testimony from alleged victims and eyewitnesses.

Diddy, 55, is facing multiple charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, coercion, and obstruction of justice. Prosecutors allege that the Bad Boy Records founder orchestrated a criminal enterprise through his business operations, using his power and influence to engage in and conceal abusive behavior.

Central to the trial are allegations from three women, each claiming they were subjected to sexual exploitation, drug-fueled assaults, and manipulation orchestrated by Combs and his associates. While another accuser, singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, has previously settled a civil suit against Combs, she is expected to appear in court as a witness during the trial.

The absence of “Victim-3” poses a critical problem for the government’s case. Legal analysts say her testimony was expected to corroborate key patterns of alleged abuse, and her voice was considered essential to establishing the broader scope of the accusations.

Despite this setback, the trial is moving forward. A 12-member jury, along with six alternates, has been seated in Manhattan federal court. The trial is anticipated to last several weeks, with prosecutors continuing to present their case through witness statements, video footage, and other evidence.

Diddy has consistently denied all allegations, maintaining that any relationships were consensual. His defense team argues that he led a “free-spirited” lifestyle and claims that his past drug use has been exaggerated to paint an unflattering narrative.

With the disappearance of a central witness casting a shadow over the proceedings, all eyes are on the courtroom as opening arguments begin. Whether the prosecution can maintain the strength of its case without “Victim-3” remains to be seen.
