Breaking news:Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Dressed as the Same Taylor Swift Album on Their Double Date

Forget those Reputation (Taylor’s Version) rumors for a second—Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are still in their Midnights era.

On October 11, the New York City couple dressed in looks inspired by their kids’ godmother while out to dinner with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Photographed outside The Corner Store in Soho, Lively wore an ornate knit dress with dramatic thigh slits, which she paired with matching fishnet stockings and Valentino ankle boots—all in a deep wine red.

While the vibes of the look were leaning toward Swift’s Folklore/Evermore eras, the monochromatic color story was giving “the burgundy on my T-shirt when you splashed your wine into me/And how the blood rushed into my cheeks, so scarlet, it was (maroon).”

Not convinced this was an intentional Midnights ensemble? Just look at Reynolds’s date-night look, which was even more on the nose. For his part, Reynolds wore navy trousers with a white button-down, which just so happened to feature a navy collar with golden star details. Then again, there is a touch of Folklore to this ’fit if you consider the “Cardigan” lyrics, “you drew stars around my scars.”

No matter which album the pair were cosplaying, Lively and Reynolds are always on the same page sartorially. Over the years, the couple has mastered the art of couples dressing without matching directly.

Earlier in the day, the pair stepped out in complementary autumnal ensembles, with Reynolds dressed in the same trousers, striped socks, and suede shoes he wore for double-date night. Up top, however, he dressed more casually in a white T-shirt, denim jacket, and navy baseball cap. For her part, Lively dressed for the season in a pair of relaxed light-wash jeans, a brown top, and a plaid jacket in all the colors of a pumpkin spiced latte, topping everything off with a Chanel purse and her favorite platform Uggs. While Travis Kelce has a football game scheduled next Sunday, October 20, it’s possible that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively could find themselves back in the VIP tent at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour show in Miami. If so, they’ll surely dress accordingly.
