Who’s ready to get back into the world of Pearson Hardman? Well, thanks to Patrick J. Adams and Sarah Rafferty (who portrayed Mike Ross and Donna Paulsen), fans can dive back into the Suits universe in a way they didn’t expect.

Less than a year after the USA Network drama saw a resurgence on Netflix in June 2023, fans will get to hear Patrick and Sarah regale what it was like to film Suits in the form of a podcast. According to an April 2 report from Deadline, the duo are teaming up with SiriusXM to launch a rewatch podcast series, which will see them discussing behind-the-scenes anecdotes while breaking down every episode from the show’s nine-season run. What’s more, the two will talk to former cast members and crew, along with some friends and longtime fans of the series.

“On the heels of the record breaking Suits resurgence, it feels like the perfect time to rewatch the show that changed our lives,” they said in an official statement. “We are thrilled to collaborate with the incredible team at SiriusXM and look forward to connecting with our friends from the cast and crew, as well as the Suits fans who made it all possible.”

So, what can we expect from this incredible news? Well, we have some key pieces of evidence for you.

The day after the Suits podcast news broke on April 3, Patrick confirmed the announcement on Instagram.

“I’ve never watched Suits. I’ve seen a handful of episodes, but found it got me in my head and made me more insecure while we were in the throes of making it so just backed away,” he wrote. “But this summer, watching so many people discover it again, really made me realize I would be crazy not to go back and see what came out of those years and years of laughs and tears and early mornings and long nights. And I can’t fathom anyone I would rather walk through it all again with than @iamsarahgrafferty, my sister from another mister and the best scene partner you could ever hope to have.”

Upon hearing about this collaboration between Patrick and Sarah, fans immediately got excited by what’s to come from the Suits rewatch podcast.

“You two are definitely the best duo for the job 😭♥️,” one person exclaimed. “This is epic man, can’t wait 👏,” another wrote. “Gah! That’s so fun! Congrats and best of luck!” a different follower added.

Just two months after Suits alums Patrick J. Adams and Sarah Rafferty announced they would be launching a podcast series, we now have details on what to expect.

In an article released by Variety on June 2, the stars revealed the name of their podcast while speaking at the Suits panel at the ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas. The show will be titled Sidebar: A Suits Watch Podcast and feature one unique element that fans may have missed in the original announcement.

Per Netflix’s Tudum, Patrick and Sarah disclosed that Sidebar won’t see the two rewatching old episodes of the USA drama. As the actors explained, this will be their first time watching Suits at all, given how they didn’t watch it while it was originally airing.

“We’re not calling it a ‘rewatch podcast,’ because we are watching it for the first time together,” Patrick clarified to the audience. “We are recording a podcast that’s documenting that journey.”

Well, it looks like we’ll be experiencing Patrick and Sarah’s reactions in real-time, and we can’t wait!

Thanks to an Instagram video featuring Sarah, fans can now consider it “case closed” on this piece of info! The Sidebar podcast began airing episodes this fall, with the premiere installment launching on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.

“Hi! I’m so excited to finally announce that the podcast is launching on Tuesday, September 24th!” she said in the clip uploaded on September 10. “Don’t forget to follow along, so you never miss an episode and we absolutely cannot wait to take this journey with you.”

Now that the Sidebar podcast has officially launched, fans can listen to Patrick and Sarah on all streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music and SiriusXM.
