Patrick Mahomes is celebrating his birthday surrounded by family, friends and plenty of love—and fans are once again turning their attention to the quarterback’s impressive commitment to helping young people. 

Mahomes’ 15 and the Mahomies Foundation, established in 2019, is dedicated to improving the lives of children through programs focused on health, wellness, communities in need and other charitable causes. The foundation also runs initiatives encouraging young people to read and volunteer in their communities.

The birthday celebrations have sparked plenty of excitement among Chiefs fans, especially given Mahomes’ close friendship with Travis Kelce and his relationship with Taylor Swift. The trio have shared memorable moments together over the years, including previous birthday celebrations and charity events.

In fact, Swift and Kelce have previously supported Mahomes’ charitable work. At a 2024 15 and the Mahomies Foundation gala, an auction featuring Taylor Swift concert tickets raised $80,000 for the foundation.

Meanwhile, Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, marked his 2026 birthday with a heartfelt tribute, calling him “the heart of our family” while sharing photos of Patrick with their three children.

So while the reported $5 million birthday foundation gift has not been independently confirmed, the real story is still one worth celebrating: Patrick Mahomes continues to use his platform to support children and communities beyond the football field.
